outrunning a TTZX = B.S. You'd have to be dipping into the 13's with 600+ ponies.
So....the bridge thing = If ya believe that, somewhere there's a bridge with your name on it.
I find it both amusing and at the same time annoying that some try to think that as great as these trucks are...that they can hang with supercars....especially with a couple bolt-ons.

I agree about more of a joke, read the post again. And yes no need for slamming remarks.
Re:slipping clutch
Thanks for the support fellas.I really didnt mean to cause a conflict. The 300 zx that was next to me was a mid 90's Fairlady that had pillar gauges and a loud exhaust. I knew it was a twin turbo because I know the markings and he had a loud blowoff valve. I surprised him off the line because of my way loud exhaust and who expects a diesel to run? I blasted him through first and second, and when I hit third my clutch started to slip so I shut down. At this time I was about one hood ahead of him.He did his hundred mile an hour fly by with his flashers on. I know if he was ready and and the race was on the track, the guy would waste my beast. So when I say that "I was outrunnig him" I mean't it as a joke.Again I am sorry and thanks for the responses.
Re:slipping clutch
JJ, Hope you get that clutch settled and don't sweat the slams. I can even see you taking him by surprise and I have even exaggerated on my basically stock trucks abilities. Heck I have taken people up to about 60/70 but they were yunguns with no idea how to shift gears. Sometimes the car or truck aint the only factor in a race. Besides that, in my dreams(day or night) I beat anything, anytime and anywhere. If I don't win I always have a great excuse ready. ;D Tires cold, to much spin, bad gas or even the old sprained ankle. God Bless and bye that bridge before I do.
;D

Re:slipping clutch
Wasn't trying to slam and yes...in my dreams I always win too
These trucks can raise some eyebrows and take folks by surprise. Can they even come close to hanging with a supercar that did 5.4 0-60 out of the box? I think not. Does a ZXTT with gauges, blow-off, exhaust etc. surpass the original specs..yep.
Just trying to keep a dose of reality here....no offense desired.
