Exclamation Clutch Slipping?

I put a new AirDog Fuel Pump on my truck and the thing makes such a load winding noise. Is this normal? Also when I'm driving down the road and kick into it,the rpm raise up almost to red line and it like the truck is not going and does not pick up any speed. Could this be a clutch or transmission problem?

Yes to the clutch slipping issue, if your rpm goes up without the truck going faster, your clutch is slipping. It will usually start to happen in the higher gears when you get on it hard or when towing up hills etc.
