Clutch problem...Maybe?
Sorry for the long post but this is driving me crazy. When i am stopped at a red light etc, with the clutch pushed in, my truck shifts into and out of gear smoothly, however, when i take off i am getting a kinda "clunk" and the drivetrain shockloads. It only does it if i have held the clutch in for awhile. If i sit at the light in neutral then step on the clutch and take off right away, no clunk. I have eliminated everything, replaced all the balljoints, u-joints, brakes, lift kit bushings, steering components, tried ladder bars, everything. I just found out the other day that my starter was not installed correctly by the dealership last time it was in, and it broke and fell out of the truck. Now i realize that there is a fair amount of dirt and grease in the bellhousing, similar to what you would find around an old engine with an oil leak. Is there any chance the clutch could be sticking before fully engaging? If so... Can i just spray a can or two of brakeclean in there?

If it were mine, I'd take it back to the dealer. And make them fix what ever else has gotten messed up with the busted starter. I dont think brakeclean is going to cure your issues.
