Clutch pedal problems

Hey guys. I got a question maybe someone can help me with. On Sunday I got in my truck, pushed the clutch to the floorboard and turned the key and nothing happened. All the lights work but nothing else. After working with it for a while I finally let the clutch out a little and it fired up. I tried unplugging a sensor connected to the pedal but then it wont start at all. Thanks for the help.

Maybe the sensor is messing up. I have taken the wires in the sensor an tied them together to close the circut before to get by until I could get a new one. WARNING this will allow it to start without pushing in the clutch. I ended up liking being able to start it this way and never bought the new sensor. Had to be really careful wo drove it though.Just my .02

thanks, but i have no floor mats, haha, Its got to be something with the sensor because I pulled it up and turned the key and it started right up. Not sure why it is all messed up. I noticed when I pulled it up there were a few pieces ( a couple of plastic pieces ans a rubber ring) that were not connected to each other. Not sure if they are supposed to be connected but that is all can come up with so far. thanks

Fill out your sig so we know what your driving. The 3rd gens with a TIPM have a flash for a similar issue. If its under warranty, talk to your dealer.
