clutch install

How long does it take the dealer to replace a clutch? Dropped my truck off lat wednesday in the Pm and it is still not ready. Plus to beat it all they said that they would keep me posted as to when they thought it would be ready and of course they haven't bothered to call. Guess they won't be getting the 5 star rating from me. Oh well, it is what it is, just venting.

A clutch is a very time cosuming job. It will tie-up a bay and probably two techs. Depending how big or busy a shop it is, it is not likely to be high on their list of to dos. Not to bad mouth them, but flat rate techs can run out many more smaller jobs that pay their bills than one job that actually takes a half a day or more to do.
