Clicking sound from #1 injector line?

Recently just acquired an 05 3500 Cummins from my grandpa. It's an all around solid truck with less than 150xxx miles in it and is completely stock. Well within the last week I've noticed a clicking sound coming from the #1 injection line. When I feel the line it has a vibration(?) that is in time with the clicking sound. I would call it more like a pulse in the line rather than a vibration. There is virtually no blow by just the vapor that's normal with these engines. I have no idea what could be causing this sound and I'm concerned it might be a serious issue. I'm new to diesels so any input would be greatly appreciated!

Congrats on the 2005 truck!

Since you are new to diesels, I recommend a ton of reading and research on this and other forums.
If you are automotive inclined and ambitious/curious there is a ton to learn.
The 3rd Gens are excellent trucks but there are numerous weak points and issues to be aware of.

Since the #1 injector line is longer and unsupported, it vibrates/pulses more than the others. That's normal.
In fact, you should check and tighten all the other supports for the other injector lines. That's one of issues you will find if you start reading.

There is a ton of knocks/clicks/noises with diesels that are completely normal. It will take a while to get used to this.

Thanks! I'm definitely the ambitious type as I've been doing nothing but reading about the Cummins since getting the truck. I try and do all of my own work and so far everything seems to be going well. I've already read the #4 line is notorious for cracking so I'm going to upgrade in the coming weeks. This, and other forums, are going to be my favorite place to hang around now. Again thank you for the input/advice!
