Question clicking sound

I've got a clicking sound coming from my right front differential. Thought maybe my center cap was loose but is was still nice and tight. Not sure what could be wrong. I have the automatic hubs with the shift on the fly.
Any body ever experience anything similar?

Does this only happen in 2x4? If that's the case, perhaps the 4x4 engagement sleeve for the axle is not retracting far enough?

I have not checked that out but I will in the morning on my way to work. I think I will take in in to a shop this week and have it looked at though.
