Check out this balljoint

I just did my 15k maintenance and switched it over to synthetic 5w40 rotella.
Take a look at my driver side ball joint and tell me if I have a problem or not, looks like some seepage so what does that mean.
Also the manual says to lube front door shafts, what does that mean??
thanks,
DK

You're cool, the u-joints are always a bit greasy. Servicable u-joints ooze grease out of the caps when you service them.

Yup shouldn't be grease leaking out, sound slike your seal went out and now there will be no grease in them. I'd say you'd get another 10,000 out of them before they completely go out maybe more maybe less.

It's only the drivers side that is saturated. It's too bad there wasn't a way to retro a grease fitting. I guess I'll take it in under warranty.
