Also try under the hood or on one of the door panels. Also look at the rear itself it may have a tag on it telling you what the ratio is, the tag will be were the cover is and should be held on by one of the bolts for the cover.

Drive it on the highway. Do 70mph. If you are at 2250 rpms you have the 4:10 rear end. 2000 rpms you have the 3:73. This theory only works with stock tires.

Mine just says 11.50, I thought that the trucks only show axle, I may be wrong though. Mine is a 3.73 ratio.

I thought that if it said nothing it has 3.73( standard) if it has 4.10, it would list it as an option and would also be in the glove box. It is one of the two as these are the only ratio's that AAM is curently offering unless you go aftermarket.

actually, it should still show 2000 rpm's at 70mph by the speedo, you are actually traveling faster though because of the bigger tires right? If that is true i have the 3.73s.

The tires and rims are only 5 days old. I did 70 in my truck before the tires and it was at 2250 rpm. So that is what I based my theory on. Right now I have no idea how far off my speedo is. But my ratio is now down to 3.90 with the larger tires.

If yo have stock tires on your truck with an auto tranny. And you do 70 mph on flat land and your rpm's are at 2k. Yes you have the 3.73. The 4.10's are at 2250 rpm. Ps get a RokTech sensor I put mine in tonight. Gives you some nice low end power that will help with Mpg

Just a ? is dodge still running 3.55 in the third gens? I was just wondering because everyone is talking 3.73 and 4.10.

Right now it is only 3.73 or 4.10. Soon the aftermarket will have better gear choices!!

That's right. Only way it would not be is if you had the computer reprogramed for a different tire size.

Why did they change and not have them like they did with the second gens?

They dropped dana and went to AAM, which currently only makes those two ratios for the 11.5.
