A/C not working, need help bad

This is on an '06 truck...

The wires on my fan/clutch got cut a while back and i assumed that was the problem, maybe the computer wasnt letting the compressor kick on or something, but put a diff fan clutch on and that didnt do it, so where do i go now???

I checked the plug that goes to the back of the compressor and it has ground and a hot wire when the little snow flake is lite up on the control panel inside... now i checked the plug thats on the line right beside of the compressor, i assume this is the pressure switch??? or am i wrong? either way it had 3 wires, 2 were ground and the tester wouldnt really show the 3rd to be anything, so im lost... Whats yalls oppinion, Pressure switch? maybe the electronics in the compressor are shot? nobody seems to know whats going on

Also i didnt notice it not working till the fan wires were cut, seems like it could be related but who knows

Have a set of gauges put on it to see if it has a charge.

More than likely you compressor is shot, my 06' goes through compressors like there going out of style. If your holding a charge and all the wiring is correct, compressors your problem.

Mine was 1600, installed, w/new accumulator & hoses. Be advised, there are an early and a late...not previously knowing this cost me an extra day's downtime.
