35" Tires

I Bought Some 35-12:50,s for my Truck , Pro- Comp XTerrains , After 10-Miles on the Road and up a few grades / hills , I new I hated them and they had to Go. They are now In my Storage Waiting for someone interested Brand New with maybe 25-Miles on them. I Ended up going to Good Year and Picked up Some BFG All-Terrains 285-70-17 They are perfect. Basically about a 33-12:50 Size slightly smaller Tire, My Truck has a Thruren Fabrication Suspension 3-inch Lift so 33,s Are perfect, I Just Can Not justify The Power Loss and Fuel economy loss , " The Only Gain " is the Cool Factor period. 37,s-- 39,s a Waste of Money And power killers, You never Win a Drag Race. But Hey to each there Own Freedom of Choice thats the Beauty of it. I take that back if I lived up in the mountains and had to Cross a Few Streams to get to work every day The Big 39,s would be serving a purpose then, How much Does a Set of some 39,s Run $ ouch! I dont know man , More Expense of a 37--39 Tire Along with decreased Fuel economy, Along With decreased performance and handeling. I guess once you lift a Truck to 8" plus inches you almost have to go with the 37, 39,s what ever flips your switch!

Kind of funny you talking about "wasting money on 37's or 39's" when I look at your sig Turbo, intercooler, programer, suspension kit, blah blah blah.....I guess though THAT is not wasting money though, right? Did you put the lift on for your 35's, or the 285's?

In Hawaii, does that "CNC heater block spacer" come in handy?

Roger that! Matter of opinions is all it comes down to. I have 35's now, and I am going to 37's next, and I have every intention of leaving teh 3.73's in, unless of course I notice a drastic change in how the truck drives, but I noticed no change from stock to 35's.
