Due to my lift i changed out the brake lines on by 06 2wd cummins. When did was done the standard procedure was followed and the brakes bled etc. Now since doing that the pedal goes down abour 2/3 of the way with basically no resistance and no stopping power. Then it starts to bite about 2/3 down. My guess is there is air trapped in the system somewhere and we need to re-bleed the brakes.

My other thought is that with the lift and bigger wheels and tires the powersteering needs more pressure and the hydroboost isnt getting the hydraulic pressure it needs?

Any suggestions?

that is very possible, usually run out of steering first, mostly in low speed parking lot manuvers

 

Bleed them again. You don't have all the air out.

I prefer to make my own pressure bleeder and use the motive adapter. Just use a 1 gallon weed sprayer bottle, and replace the outlet line with clear vinyl tubing, then connect the vinyl tubing to the adapter.
