Boost at Idle? Help, Please

Good morning, all. I wanted to ask the group a question about boost. A few weeks ago I installed an Edge CTS2 programmer, and have it set up on the dash to monitor the engine. I noticed right away that the boost gauge appears to read 3 pounds of boost at idle, which seems weird. The max boost is 25 pounds or less at full boil. I noticed last night, in 6th gear, coasting down a highway hill at 65mph, the boost was reading between 3 and 4 pounds. Could this be just the factory boost sensor being inaccurate, or could it really be boosting at idle?
Thoughts?
Thanks!

I think I got it sorted out - the boost is measured through the MAP, which accounts for atmospheric pressure. Should consider investing in the actual pressure sensor from Edge.
