Good Morning, I just have over 2,000 miles on my truck. I noticed yesterday when stepping on it I am getting a big old puff of black smoke. Is this normal for a CTD 610? I heard of others seeing the same thing. Don't get me wrong I like it just want to make sure its normal. Truck is a beast!! I still can't get the smile off my face. DW was wondering why I was smiling looking in the rear view mirror!!

 

Its a diesel, its suppose to.

When I step on mine all the whole world in back of me goes black whats up with this

 

Mine smokes too, it's worse when the engine isn't up to temp. I think this is from the 3rd injection that helps keep that cat hot. I don't really mind it tho

 

I get a nice puff of the black stuff when my right foot gets heavy... it's all good

 

I wish my truck would smoke, but its stock, and I can't afford to BOMB.
