Big rig tires and fuel milage

I got 18,500 miles out of my General Ameritracs. I usually never get over 22,000 on a set of tires.I have over 20,000 on my 22.5 and they still look like new. Truck pulls just as good with the 22.5 And I know it helped my fuel milage my biggest problum is I now drive faster.
After having these tires on my truck I would never go without them!!
Yeah and it is not some crazy story! I have had a lot of guys think I am flat out lieing to them about it. From what I have found out in the circles that I run that some guys like myself gets awsome luck with them and some can't get them to last at all? I know that I keep my pressure way up about 5-7 lbs over inflated and I rotate them all the time! So far I have had excellant luck with them. I have been at the tire shop and other guys are getting new tires at like 50K.
I guess I will just keep my fingers crossed that I keep having good luck!
Well in my past checking is if you will check the big truck tire shops first and not the ones in the diesel magazines you get a huge huge discount!!
Like I was on the road the other day and a trucker was selling his old set of wheels, tires, lugs all 10 of them for only $800 and he had Alcoa alum. wheels. I almost did it but figured I would wait. The tires had tons of life left and were the top dog Michelin tires. Who knows how much that setup would cost if you bought if from the guys in diesel power magazine.

Just keep your tank full when you hit ND Their have been a lot of fuel stations out of fuel. In the last month or so I have been to 3 stations out of diesel. But from what I hear the Major truck stops have been ok.
Yeah that is what I have been hearing! Plus the ND guys are on the top 5 list of highest states to get fuel in oh lucky me! It has been a while since I have been up there. I always seem to find myself there this time of the year oh lucky me!
Yeah well in my area we jumped to 3.29-3.39 well they wont be happy till they have it at 4 or they break us all! What gets me is with traveling all over the country is the massive cost difference it is from one area to the next. The other night the difference in the US between the highest and the lowest was over .47 per gallon that is crazy!
