I noticed this about a week ago. When I put the truck in reverse a bell goes off, like when your low on fuel.... it only does it once, if you take it out of reverse and put it back, it doesn't do it anymore.... but if you drive or put it in a few other gears and back into reverse, it will "ding" again?????????????

Anyone else experience this???

 

Do a search either on here or the pay per post site. I believe its a safety feature that can be activated to alert the driver he's in reverse. Why your just noticing it now is beyond me.

 

I think there is a TSB for that!

 

I've never heard of this and my truck has never done it.

 

Ok... off to the dealer...... guess we'll find out what he says about my Banks equip????????

 

Is your door open or partially open when you notice this? My truck sounds a chime when you move a few feet with the door open.
