Fuel additives: Will they impede engine break in?

Just posted this question on another site. With the added lubrication from fuel additives, do you think that they would impede the break in period of a new engine?

Thanks in advance,
Alan

Not in the least if you follow the manufracturers suggestions. Breakin has more to do with the oil you are using. The lubrication in the fuel is more for the LP & IP. Hopefully the fuel additive is burned during combustion.

Lets NOT turn this into an oil thread. Please?
