Anyone have any experience or feedback about this 3" BDS lift kit?

It moves the track bar but does nothing for the sway bar...

 

Seems expensive to me. I'd rather do this:

Thuren Track Bar - $322
Carli End Links - $185
Coil Spacer - $100
Bilstein Shocks - $294

It's a bit more but you end up with better parts.

 

i have a bds 6in lift with 37in tires and haven't had any problems . drives great and have had nothing but compliments . i paid 1100 or 1200 for my lift .
but mine came with new coils for the front , shocks , blocks for the back , and some other stuff .

 

I know BDS probably doesn't compare to kits by Carli, Thuren, Core etc but ya gotta wonder how much difference the average person is going to notice, especially if he spends 95% of his time on pavement like I do.

The DW possibility still scares me though...

 

What I recommended is nothing more than a good set of shocks, end links to address the sway bar, and a track bar to recenter the axle and take some slop out of the front end. It's not what I'd call a performance suspension system. It's just a better way to accomplish the same thing the BDS kit does with the addition of sway bar end links.

 

i just put on a trailmaster 4 inch lift and it rides great, it came with new coils and shocks for 700 bucks
