Need Liner, Running Bds, Flaps & More
Just purchased a 2004 3500 Dually LWB. This is my
first truck and not familiar with the options
and aftermarket accessories available. I want
to add a bed liner. What is the best liner to
go with? Also need mud flaps, running boards
and more! I am in the Seattle area. Any good truck
accessories supply stores in this area? BTW- I am
putting a camper on this truck- Is it better to have
someone other than the camper dealer install shocks,
air bags, tiedowns etc??? If so is there "one stop shopping"
for the required camper accessories? Help....
All recommendations appreciated!

I can give you my input on the running boards. I purchased all stainless running boards, NASTA, from truckimage.com. All parts, including nuts and bolts are stainless. My oldman is a welder and was very impressed with the workmanship. They cost $300 with free shipping.

First, welcome to the site and congrats on the purchase of your first truck!
Bed liner: I've never had one but make sure you get a spray-on type such as Rhino Lining or Line-X. Herculiner is another one. The spray-on liners are much better than the plastic slip-in type; they're not slick and they won't let moisture get between the liner and the bed causing rust.
Camper accessories: Not sure. I install everything myself but usually the camper/trailer dealers are good with their installs. Find a good dealer and get some prices from them. I used to live up there so I know there are a lot of them just along I-5.
For truck accessories, probably the best thing to do is look in the phone book and visit each store to see their inventory and get some prices. Then you have something to compare. One retailer that is huge is 4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers. They have stores all over the US, including one in Tacoma and one in Lynnwood. Here's their website: www.4wheelparts.com. Some people like them, some don't.
So many choices. Good luck.

Which parts ?
I would seriously look at the Putco step bas (wheel to wheel) for that dually, you won't be dissapointed, they look fatter, and killer on that truck, and they also have a great warranty. As far as the box liner i would go for something like the Rhino liner. You can see pics of the shorter steps in my gallery.

If you want molded fibreglass boards with built-in fender flares, check out my pics. They are by Bremen. I get a lot of Dodge guys ask where they came from. I like them. I bought my flaps straight from my freindly Dodge dealer. Better quality and fit and price was good.
