I was at my local tire and wheel shop and the guy at the shop recommended the BDS long arm 6in lift. They have a no fine print warrenty I'm strongly considering this kit

Notice it only has long lower arms, the uppers are normal length. That means we shouldn't have to cut up the frame or body mounts too much, just the lower control arm mounts.
I like the upper control arm relocation brackets... good move. The rear is all leaf spring, no blocks. Sounds like a good lift to me.

Basically they took the Skyjacker 7 inch long arm lift for the 2nd gen trucks, made it fit the new 3rd gen straight axles, and painted it a different color. Oh well, it's a good kit. Except I hope the U bolts don't look like that... they should be round since we have U bolt flips already from the factory.

Is it just me or do the coils look kinda flimsy? Just comparing them to the KORE coils which look really beefy.

Nah, they aren't flimsy... the Skyjacker 7 inch coils for the 2nd gen trucks look just like that. They just didn't have them wound as tight but they will ride fine and won't act like a Slinky.
