Battery Cables

I need a new passenger side battery ground cable and the dealer wants $106 for it. The other dealer in town was at $112. I ran across a company called Custom Battery Cables, has anyone here dealt with them before?

Noop. Never dealt with them before. It's just a ground, it should be OK.

I had the local Interstate Battery shop make me a custom set when I replaced mine, cost me about $140 or so if I remember correctly. They have worked great since. Of course the connecter that bolts to the fuse box isn't the same as the factory one, but i saved almost $200 on the overall cost of replacing the complete set. If your are just replacing the ground cable I would say go for it.

Or check you local welding supply store for some 2 gauge grounding cable. Most sell in bulk (cut to length) and you can put some new ends on it. They come with a very durable casing too!!

BTW, this is how I made my set of jumper cables. The last set I made lasted 15 years before they grew legs and walked off a job site my folks had.

This was the quickest solution for me at this time. I am very impressed with their product. A whole lot better than OEM.

Ordered on Tuesday, received on Friday...
