i have found a place that will make custom battery cables for my 1999 truck for $136.00(all cables that are rquired). they are 2/0 cables and any ends i want with them. Does this sound like alot. I have not checked with the dealer for new ones. i thought i'd ask first and work later.

I checked the local dealer today and new cables from the dealer is $384.00 with out taxes.

Someone with this problum in my area, to save a bunch go to napa and buy the cable and crimp fittings and we could meet up , I've got a crimper , it may be easyest to meet at a napa , I am in S. Paul mostly around highland / midway area - 94 & snelling if you make it easy than could do it for lunch or cheap. PM me and we can exchange #s. call it a boycot anything to not pay those prices.
