Just dropped truck off for alignment

Seems like now the steering pump/hydro boost is much louder than before. When I changed the high pressure hose could of I got air in the system? Possibly the new hose is making the noise? Definite wine/humming sound coming threw the firewall. It instant as soon as I start the truck. And seems to increase/decrease with speed.

Yep, easiest way to bleed is to jack front end off the ground so no pressure on the tires, then run steering back and forth probably 50 or more times to bleed the air. Usually works beautifully, make sure you check and correct the fluid level in the reservoir.

update:

Both left and right upper ball joints are bad. But my biggest problem was the BFG's I had on the truck. Just got new Cooper ST Maxx's. 315/70-17. And put as much positive caster as I could. 100% better. Fixing ball joints next weekend.

But back to my power steering/hydro noise and brake pedal notch. After installing the new high pressure hydro line (found out factory hose was still good) the hydro/power steering pump is louder now. Tried the bleeding technique with no change in noise. Can a simple hose change cause a change in noise?

And brake pedal has a very strange feeling. First 1/2-3/4 of inch has no brake. Then it brakes perfect. I am assuming the brake pedal issues/feeling has be coming from the hydroboost unit?!?!?
