Bad Luck

So I just passed 100,000 miles got bad gas replaced the entire fuel system and then for some reason the belt tensioner broke. So a month later and about $5000 i got it back. Now my fuel mileage went to crap. Lost about 4-5 mpg. Whats up with that. I figured the new cp3 had anough pressure with the new injectors that I was using more fuel. I don't drive crazy but it does seem like it runs 300 times better.

Any thoughts.

What are you seeing for fuel mileage now vs before? If it is running 300 times better, I probably be happy with that. Did anything else change with your truck, ie, bigger tires? Also, have you calibrated your speedo to a GPS? And are you hand calculating or using the overhead for your fuel mileage?

I am using the overhead and handcalculating it. Before I was seeing arounnd 21 on the overhead and around 19 hand calc. Now I am seeing 19 and about 15hand calc. Nothing else has changed.
