Bad Fuel or ???
About a month ago my truck starting gradually taking longer to crank. I figured it was the fuel filter since it had been about 7500 miles since I had changed it. I changed the filter and all was well...for two weeks. Then the same thing started happening. Changed the fuel filter again and the problem went away. I've been watching closely and haven't seen anything out of the ordinary during this period. Fuel economy hasn't changed and the truck doesn't drive or pull any differently. I don't have a fuel pressure gauge on the line but I do have a rail pressure gauge on the Outlook monitor and nothing seems different.
Should I be worried? Is my lift pump starting to go out? Did I get some bad fuel? I put about 800 miles on the truck a week so I have gone through some fuel and I always fill up at the same truck stop but this has me a little concerned. Thanks
