It's all done now, new G56, rear main seal, clutch pack, fluid changed in all gearboxes, an a electrical problem fixed, just short of $4,900.00. Now taken donations for fuel.

Your G56 needed a front new mainshaft bearing - too bad the dealers won't split the cases, it'd save truck owners a lot of coin... tranny repair like that is usually <$1K.

 

Had to make a stop at the dealer shop on my way out on a run. They replaced a leakin output shaft seal on the T case at no charge to me. Now with over 1000 miles on the new trans. I'm a happy camper puller again. On my way north of the border.
