axel nut help

axel nut help

did a search found like 10 post non of which helped too much,

is it 1-11/16? or metric? Where will i be able to find one? I got a kit from the parts store but it stops at 36mm which is too small. Thanks

If its the front retaining nut you are talking about I believe its 44mm

gee, i can't rememeber which it is now, but i use a socket thats not metric.36mm is too small.

I used a 1-11/16 and it worked perfectly.

used a 1-11/16 and it did the trick.check at the parts store.some places keep them behind the counter so dont just go in a nd look ask someone.or if you have a place that services 18 wheelers or any kind of big trucks check with them.

I also used a 1-11/16 socket and did the job flawlesly.

yes its 1 11/16, which is easy to find, it is also 42.93 mm which might be hard to find. its like 3/4in. is 19mm same sizes its a tomato toemato thing.

to better a search and after awhile doing it the word to search is "nut".

My problem after 9 stores is was finding a 6pt socket, no luck. so i got a 12pt and 3/4-1/2 adapter and it ziped right off with my impact. Im good, so thank you for they replyes
