Automatic Trans issue
So the truck has not been driven in about a week, so I decided yesterday to drive into town, about 10 miles and wash it off and fill it up. I let it warm up for about 5 min, it's a bit cool here now, and I headed to town. I didn't really notice a problem until I tryed to accelerate onto my two lane highway and I had no go. I soon realized the truck was starting out in 2nd gear eventhough I was in D. I tried to put the shifter down into 1st and it still stayed in second. I had a car behind me so I just kept going, and once it got up to 2nd gear speed it accelerated fine and shifted normally thru the rest of the gears. Once I got to were I could stop I put it back in park and shifted straight to 1st, and it was fine, it when into 1st. But if I put it into D it starts in 2nd.
Sorry for the long post, but I am freaking out that my transmission is going out, could it be a sensor or something electronic, I went home and parked it. I don't need it, it's not my daily driver, but I want to get it fixed before snow, if I can afford it, it has 73,000 miles on it, right out of warranty.
Any help would be great, thanks

The tranny shop here in town told me that electronics, silinoids, and whatever is in there are really poor quality and plug easily. Said something about Mexican parts not good. Mine is shifting funny lately as well, I think I might be a little hard on it driving on extreme all the time.
I had the trans fluid changed about 6k miles ago at the dealer and he said it looked pretty good.
Sounds like I need to get it in again, and have it checked out. I am just glad you guys don't think it is a major transmission problem, I was scared big time.
Thanks a lot guys.
