auto locking hub stuck
auto locking hub stuck
i have an 05 dodge 2500, put it in low range to back a trailer and now the drivers side wheel jerks when you make a turn right or left like it is still in 4 wheel drive. jacked the truck up turned the right wheel it turns freely but the left wheel turns the front drive shaft.when you crank the wheel to the left or right you can't turn the tire. hope someone has some sugestions.
05 has no lockouts. there is no 2wd low. the 4x4 lever engages and disengages the tcase, thats the only disconnect point there is.
once you shift back into 2wd, sometimes you have to drive a little bit to unbind everything before it'll get back into 2wd. mine does it best if you'll put your wheels straight and just go easily a few feet.
