Anyone have a Edge programmer?
I have a 07 ram 2500 5.9 cummins, and I wanna little more juice. im looking at the Edge Juice with Attitude. does anyone have that? i really want it, but i dont know if it is worth the 800$ brand new. when it is on level 6, will it make the truck blow some of that pretty black smoke?!? Every had any problems with it? worth the money? Thanks guys

I had one, and it was a great piece of gear. Lotsa smoke with the hot unlock, and if you stack it with an MP-8, it smokes even more.
No problems for 2 years until I sent it in for some updates, but they took care of it.
I sold mine and went to a smarty.
Look in the classifieds, there are always a few... You can send it in for a turbo timer upgrade for 50 bucks, and usually they just send you a brand new one.
little secret I learned...

Smarty, hands down.
The ehxaust was worth it because I had butchered mine... It depends on what you want. If you want a turbo back with an aftermarket muffler, then yes. If you just want to delete the cat and muff, get a delete pipe(s).

wow thanks man. **** smarty is so much faster than the edge programmer. i think that one it better. what smarty programmer is it. or do they only have 1. thanks. and on the silverline i want the turbo back. i herd a powerchoke with it on, sounded like a jet w/ a stock everything except exhaust. does urs do the same sound? thanks again

The track that I was on with the edge was not running the clock, but I bailed out every time with the edge because of my EGT's.
The Smarty was 12.46.
I was running the revo tune that came with my pod.

Here's what happened with mine...
I had an old version, and I sent it in for the turbo timer upgrade ($50) Since mine was an older one, they could not but the TT on it, so gave me a brand spankin new everything.

I've got the Juice/Attitude Hot and LOVE it. Smokes great on 6. I love the adjustablility on the fly, built in gauges and turbo timer. Im not disagreeing with Mad on the smarty, I hear its awesome, I just choose Edge, its great for what I need it for and can afford. Find one used, DON'T pay full price! Check classifieds here and ebay. The only thing I worry about with the Smarty is, you'd better have the funds to start fixing stuff ie. tranny, because it makes some awesome power
