another Hummer wheels

will the hummer wheels and tires 315-70-17 fit on a stock 06 Dodge or do you need to cut lifts or modify anything? will they rub at lock?

Do a search on this topic, there are a ton of posts about the mods to the wheels and Dodge center caps to keep you busy for a while.

The 08 H2's look the best imo...

Edit: ok i was able to find a post that said the center hole is the only thing that eeds to be opened up...

Next question. with the h2 wheels and tires at lock do they rub the arms still? If so would a leveling kit fix this?

also is there any problems putting the hummer tires 315-70-17 All-Terrain T/A® KO on stock rims? The BFG site says they mount on 8.5 rims and our rims are only 8in.

hummer wheels on a dodge,...why? my question, if the centers need to be milled to fit, why not just purchase wheels that fit?

Because they are extremely cheap with great tires! I picked mine up for 750$ with BRAND new bfg all terrain TA KO. Great tires. Milled out the centres for an 18 pack of bud.. Painted them up all real nice.. Try buying 4 315/70/17 bfgs for under 1g! Impossible.

Same bolt pattern, with 5.5" of backspacing, compared to the stockers that have 6.20".

The 5.5" of backspacing, plus the fact they are 0.5" wider (17x8.5) that stock, it's a great fit with the LT315s.

Try to find a complete aftermarket wheel set for $250 shipped to my door (what I paid).

that offset gives the truck a great stance also, bit of a sled pullers look, wide and planted to the ground.

The H2 wheels are the perfect size for our Dodges in both width and backspacing. The 315s fit with no rubbing on stock suspension.

The '08 H2s look great.

They are cheap and easy to get.

They will always be available, even many years from now, in case you damage one or need one in a hurry.

The only modification needed to fit the Dodge is a simple change in the center hole diameter. This can be done at home, with the tires on the wheels, in about 1 minute per wheel with a router and flush cut carbide bit.

The stock Dodge caps can be re-used with simple modifications even with the Dynatrac kit.

A full discussion on any of these points can be found with a search. We've been using these wheels for several years now. I have put almost 140,000 miles on my H2s. I originally had the earlier design but switched to a set of '08s. In that time I have run 315/70, 285/70 and 285/75 on mine. I also have a 48 foot fifth wheel trailer with six H2 wheels and 265/70E tires. Sweet. I highly recommend them!
