On the 07's and down,,, with the 6 speeds, is the differential gear ratio imbedded in the VIN #, or how do you find it,,,,, is it only on the diff. tag?

I don't want 4:10's,,,,,,,

Do any of the auto's come with 4:10's,,,

I remember on my '01, the ratio was on the sticker in the glove box. Any other way of quickly finding the ratio out without being there on the spot to check it,,,,, shopping alot on the web for a truck.

 

Most 4x4`s have 3.73`s, while the 4x2`s have 4.10`s. Do a search here, this info is readily available.

 

They still put it in the glove box. I doubt you can tell just by a digit in the VIN but if you know someone at a dealership they can run the VIN and tell you all the options......
