ATTN N.TX DTR 8 and Stephenville DTR 42

Okay guys, I heard that had been some discussion but nothing official. I think we could get a real nice turnout if we all met up. Im thinking maybe one Thursday night, (or sunday, I think they do it then too) we could all meet up at Kennedale 1/8th. All these diesels, those ricers wouldnt know what hit them lol. Just a thought, maybe see what kind of interest there is. Jordan from Stephenville chapter is goin tonight. I was going to, but a buddys truck wasnt ready, so definitely goin next week. Well lets see what we can decide...

I'm up for it! I'll be driving back from Houston, depends what time I get in, but I live about 10-15 minutes away from it! Let's try to do this sometime soon! And maybe kick off the new year there also! It was pretty pathetic, those ricers all lookin at my truck and stuff laughing then I whooped the first guy I raced lol. I didn't go to compete, I just wanted to give it a try, probably shouldn't have done that. Nothing went wrong it just got ADDICTIVE!!!! LOL!

Great, get both chapters together and no body will be able to see at the track for the smoke. See now this is why I have a Vice President, someone else to get the ball rolling.

Yeah, well I'm all for it! Let's get something in the planning stages. Maybe for the new year, advertise it well and stuff.

Hey Randy, I'm gonna be heading back from Houston on Thursday night. Give me a call, or I'll call you to see if you'll be in Kennedale. I'm not but 10-15 minutes away from there. Depends on what time I get in and how tired and sore I am from the jobsite I may or may not show up lol.

Here ya go man!

EAAU6081.....from amsoil direct. I also bought a k&n dry filter sock for it, can't find that part number, but you can look at the dimensions of the filter then search for the sock on K&N's website. I couldn't find one that fits it perfectly, had to get a little bigger one but it actually fits just fine.

Hope this works for you! I really like it, but the setup on my 2nd gen. I could've gotten one that's about 3-4 inches longer.

Take care!

Nope, sure don't have the part numbers for the tubing. Go to airflo.com Get the following.....

90* 4" to 5" (rubber)
5" metal tube about 6" long
45* 5" to 6" (rubber)
6" metal tube about 6" long

It will fit right beside the battery, and the 45* might rub just a little, it's kinda a tight fit, you might need to cut the 90* on the 4" side just a bit, then a bunch of good clamps. That's all you need, pretty easy to find that stuff on the website. That filter # is a 6" open end so it will fit on the 6" tube real well. I think that's about it. There's another guy on here that has the same setup, I gave him all the info. And you want to talk about a heck of a whistle!!! lol If your silencer ring is off. I can't be on the phone under high boost it's insanely loud! lol lol!!!

It's alright about the thread stealing lol, hey Randy, you might want to repost the above on this post to keep it rollin! I'm in houston right now but will be back on Thursday! Take care man!

Alright. Not sure if Im gonna go this week or not. I turned down the pump on my truck for mileage/egt purposes. Man 1/3-1/2 turn out and it runs like crap now, comparitively anyways. Hopefully I can do my valet switch pretty soon, then go back in some more on the pump. Then start saving for water meth.

Really, makes that big of a difference!? Well we may all be riding horses in a little while if fuel keeps it up! Why is it .40-.50 higher than gas though, that's what gets me lol. It's so much cheaper to refine and the oil and gas companies are recording record high profits!!! What's up! lol

Jordan, all I can say is welcome to the world we live in in case you had not already been formally introduced...the oil companies are just greedy and out for their own personal gain and flat out don't care about anyone else. There, I think that pretty well sums it up.

Does the Kennedale thing happen every Thursday night? If so, is anyone going out tonight, November 1?
