Amsoil ATF

Would you recommend changing to the amsoil transmission fluid? I was wondering how this fluid holds up in the automatics ( ATF+4) for towing? I noticed they have a different fluid listed for racing and towing? Thanks for the help.

Personally it's the only way to go. I run it and have noticed the tranny temps are cooler. A lot of places around here that do upgrades to the trannies only use AMSOIL

Thumbs up

I've been using the Amsoil Universal synthetic ATF in my '92 Dodge diesel dually for several years. It has 208,000+ miles, all stock, with no problems towing a trailer weighing about 7,000 lbs between Florida and Canada exclusively.

I will continue using it in my recently purchased 2004.5 when it's time for a change.

I use the Supershift in my 904 Torqueflight equipped race car.

Amsoil dealer source/locator.
