I know a few who have used it in there 48re and like it very much. I'll be installing it in my trans here shortly. I have used Amsoil ATF it in several Dodge trans I have owned over the past 6 years and I've had no problems with it. In fact I like it better then what Dodge put in.

 

Keep us posted on what it does to the shifting on the 48re when you put it in.

 

I don't have an auto, but I installed Amsoil ATF in my G56 last year when the temps were at -30 celsius (-20 Farenheit). I did notice an immediate difference at those temps, but other than that no real difference at all.

 

Oh and I forgot, shifts from low to 2nd much better than before. So, It was definitely worth it.

 

OMG they have a crap load of motor oils and such. Where would I look to figure out what fluids to use throughout my truck?
