So I was driving my '06 45K miles CTD down the freeway and the air quit blowing cold. Took a look and the AC clutch was not locking up. Took it to a mechanic. He said he could not find a clutch through his supplier, and Dodge only sold it with a compressor. Any Ideas where I can get one?

 

You sure it's not just low on freon?

 

Yea, gave the clutch 12 volts direct, still would not lock up.

 

had to go to the dealer with mine. Mine went out before 100,000 also. We had 4 trucks ac's all go out within 1 month of each other. They were all 06's. I was ticked!! Replaced the clutch on my 01 a.c. twice on 435,000 miles. My 06 had less than 100,000 and I had to relplace the compressor. AARRGGGHHH!!!!!

On a lighter note I have over 200,000 miles and she still blows cold.
