8.0 liter engine

Check out this truck on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...479807301&rd=1

Another fine example of a Dealer that knows nothing about his product. "It can go anywhere" with its fantastic 8.0 liter engine.

He also describes it as a Laramie - even though it's a SLT.

If you scroll through his pictures one of them is the belt routing. It says 8.0L. How could Dodge make a mistake like that since they dont even have an 8 L. Some people.

I may be jumping the gun, because I haven't looked at the pictures, but Dodge does make a 8.0L engine. I had one. It's the V10. It has been discontinued this year on the Ram pickups but there is certainly pleanty of them around. After having said this, I'll go look at the pictures.

I looked at the pictures. He is justed mixed up. He has the 5.9L commins engine and somehow thought it was 8.0L. He just mixed up the size of the engine. Probably thought he had the biggest engine and didn't know the difference between the V-10 and the diesel. It takes all kinds.

Like JohnnyH said, it shows a picture of the belt routing and clearly says 8.0L, must be a new hybrid, diesel/gas type

Man. If that's an 8.0L cummins, I wonder what kind of power that thing produces. Bet it only revs to 1500rpm. Gets 10 to the gallon if your lucky. Still would be a fun truck to toy with. I wonder what a TST box would do on it? A set of twins and some EDM's.

Looks like the sticker has another engine diagram on it. Probably a w/o AC or something, but maybe they made some stickers with both engines (8.0 and 5.9l) on it?

I emailed him... be interesting to hear what he says.

I've got one! Look at your own trucks, Joels note about two stickers triggered a little something in my brain, I just went out and looked at mine, it has both 8.0 and 5.9 belt routing stickers. But the seller should look a little closer before he advertises
