The dealer says you cant get the snow plow prep package with the 6spd diesel.

I confirmed it on the dodge site, looks like the reg cab can have it but not the QC short or long bed.

I am debating just skipping the plow package to keep the stick. The diesel gets the bigger batteries but I guess not the
bigger alternator ...

Re:6spd means no plow package???

It looks like going with the 6spd means I am out of getting the 160 amp alternator or the skid plate. The skid plate can be added with protection group which means the only thing missing is the 160 amp alternator.

Any of you plow guys see this as a big problem???

Get the trailer tow and the bigger alternator is once again included.

Seems strange how DC decided to package the options on these trucks.

Never thought about it until now.

Re:6spd means no plow package???

The dealers telling me that now snow plow prep package means no warranty if I put a plow on it. I cant believe that they would void the warranty over an alternator.
