My buddy has an '01 CTD and he was telling me about a couple of his friends that have '06s. He said that they have a different engine than mine because their Cummins emblem says 600 series below it. Are there any differences in the motors and if not why the different emblems?

 

No you have the same motor... The badges are there so you go woopty doo da o me o my, Then you go running around telling all types of wierd stories to your friend with an 06 about how his engine is different because of emblems.

 

Well I didn't think so, but I had to check to make sure.

 

so basically the only difference is he doesnt get to do the "woopty doo da o me o my".
