Well....it was the little rod thing that fell into the linkage that caused this whole problem!!! They said the rest of the tranny looks perfect....so they are going to replace this small piece, adjust the bands, new filter & fluid and Im good to go.......about a 300.00 fix as opposed to having the tranny rebuilt!! Pretty happy about that......Thanks for all the comments...

Glad to hear that's all it was! Little steep on the price compared to around here, but I'm used to doing it all myself.
