my brother has a 92 D250, had to replace OD solinoid in tranny while valve body was out installed TransGO shift kit TFOD-Diesel shift kit.
all went well till I tried to shift out of park something binding.. seems to be the parking rod when I remove valve body everything works fine. I think parking rod is in right place when in park can't spin driveshaft, can't shift out of park though.. can't see where parking rod goes to far back becouse OD.. is there a trick to getting parking rod in?? will try tomorrow after work

You can take the rod off the valve body and install that first but with the trans in the truck that makes it difficult.. Some times if you rotate the out put shaft it will get the pall off the tooth of the ring gear so you can slide it past. Check to see that the rooster comb is installed properly, and that the shift linkage is installed correctly.. Idk if you took it out our not just some things to check
