48re in the shop manual?

To save myself some labor and shipping costs I think I might put the mods in my transmission. Is the 48re in the Dodge shop manual? Dave Goerend said the 48re is pretty simple, easier than a th-350. I've done th-350's before so I'm confident I can do this. If I've got the manual for it I figure I can't lose.

Good. Thanks. I didn't want to drop that kind of money before I knew. I know it's a good idea to have one, but now I know I really need one.

LOL, that's a good one. I can't think any transmission easier and more forgiving than a TH350.

As far as the 48re, you'll definately need access to a large hydraulic press to remove the big spring in the OD unit.

He told me about that. Didn't plan on replacing the output shaft. Just the input and intermediate. If I change my mind that won't be a problem.
