48re failure?

I want to hear from those folks (if there are any) who have had a 48re fail on them from an exhaust brake.
Please limit the discussion to 48re only and I'm really interested in stock HOs.
I know they are not authorized. I've heard all of the warnings. What I really want is input from the people who count, THE DRIVERS!

If you read the 48re/exhaust brake thread on TDR, I believe someone is having theirs rebuilt right now tht was using an exhaust brake. I think if you don't change that thrust washer and get a TC lockup controller you are asking for trouble.

This has been discussed on here in the past. I believe most folks on here know not to use an EB with the auto.
