48re clutch question?

Well I'm looking at buying an 05 with a rebuilt motor and auto trans. Longterm plan is 500hp or so, no towing or pulling, just a fun dd. Now iv searched but can't find how much hp the clutches can hold if I just upgrade parts like vb tc pistons etc. Being that theyr brand new and I install the vb with higher pressure right away will they b able to hold 500hp or does it need a full build? I know full build is better n some guys will say that but I'm just looking to c how much it can hold without a full build within reason. Thanks

I'd do a transgo and up the pressure some more.

Will that work for 500hp all other things like tc and inputs aside? I was thinking a goerend vb or something like that, haven't really looked at transgo. I did see ppe made a stage four kit for the 48re and they claim it holds 850 flywheel hp or 650rwhp. Can't remember if that replaced the clutches or not. How much is the transgo shift kit good for? All this 48re stuff is new to me and seems to b hard to find conclusive info anywhere on it lol
