does anybody have pics of a 06 with 33x12.5x17 on the stock 8'' aluminum wheels? Do they fit good? stick out of the wheel wells any? I fifth wheel so I can't lift the truck any either. I think 33's would look a little beefier than 285/70/17. Thanks, Jim

 

I have the 295 Nitto's which are a 33x12.50 on the stock wheels and they look great and I also tow my 28ft 5th wheel. I also have a 2inch lift.

 

are you lookin for a hegth look or a width look most tires that say 33/12.5/17 are really only 32.3 talland almost 13 wide and look squatty to me my bro in law has pro comps that size and they have a short wide look to them. I like to see rubber so the 285 70 I think are nicer fit but have not seen the nitto in person. You really gotta read the specs

 

Be sure to check the load ratings before you buy IF you're going to be towing heavy.......most LT33x12.50R17's are only rated at 2600 lbs carry capacity. If you want to maintain the capacity and still get a little more "meatier" tire on the road, consider some LT285/70R17's LRD as they have a 3195 lb carrying capacity.....same as the LT265/70R17's in LRE.
