Twice now the engine has died shortly after I started it. The engine light will stay lit, but turn itself off about 30 minutes later.

The first time it happened with the Edge Juice (Attitude not installed yet) and I retrieved the code using the key on/off process. Yesterday it happened a second time and I retrieved the code from the Attitude monitor and then reset it. I know I've seen others post this code as well - P2509. Any ideas on why it happens or how to keep it from doing it again?

 

just an Idea do you have a key with a chip in it?

 

Not sure about the code, but a good place to start is recheck all the connections, make sure nothing has debri in it, and is all the way seated.

Other than that, not sure, maybe give Edge a shout

 

No chip that I know of. The truck starts right back up fine.

I'll wait and see if it does it again and call Edge.
