22K miles and engine is carboned up?
I elected to pay to get my truck fixed so I could get back to work. Somebody I used to know used to say "don't let your money get mad". I consider it a price for education as I have learned chrysler used to suck and chrysler still sucks. I will be trading for a 1/2 ton ford with a 5.4 this summer, and if I ever buy another diesel it will be a chevy because they stand behind their product.
chalk it up to a learning experience. You wanted to get back to work and not argue with them. Can't fault you for that. But That money would have been better spent on vaseline for what they did to ya.
I have a cousin who has a one year old Ford. He says the power is good, but he gets 9mpg pulling the trailer, and a whole 12mpg highway without his trailer.
Oh- did I forget that's Canadian? You can take off about another 20 % to convert that to USA mpg! (And that's no b-------.)

It was a lame duck!
The only reason Chevy did that is because of the higher number of Injector failures. If the number was less, they would have done nothing - they are all the same when it comes to warrenty work. If the Injector issues with Dodge was as bad as the Chevy's, they too would have done something. It does not matter what you buy, find a dealer that wants to help you and not give excuses.
Hello,
Your injector malfunctioned and caused the carbon problem. The exact cause of the injector problem has yet to be determined. I could return! This is a warranty issue unless they can pin bad fuel on you. So far they cannot.
