2007 2500 front u-joint grease fitting
I have seen a post about the location of the front u-joint grease fitting location. I know it is not an ordinary zerk fitting. Can anyone tell me where the posting may be found?
You talking about the constant velocity joint on the front of the transfer case? If so, hard to describe, but I'll try,,, jack your wheel up in the air so you can turn the driveshaft, I found I could locate it easier crawling in from the drivers side, with a good clean rag and maybe some degreaser and a good flashlight, spray some on your rag, turn the shaft and wipe up inside the joint, it should be a recessed, silver looking dish, I'd say about 3/16" dia.
Go to O'reilly's auto and get you a needle that snaps in the end of your grease gun, shove it into the middle of the recessed area and give it to it,,,,, then when I got through, I took a permanent white ink marker and marked the drive shaft centerline location so I'd know where to wipe the next time

id like to post a pic to help you but its gunna rain here for 3 days strait. i found it here try looking some more. But when you do find it, i used a needle fitting and paint the u-joint so next time u can find it alot easier.
