Hey guys I was hoping for some help. I pulled the 5.9 out of the truck and redid all the bearings and new rings. It had a cracked ring. The previous owner had done a SMF conversion and I already ordered a LUK DMF and clutch. I just want the car to be closer to OEM. Then I found this thread:

So I need the two plates and associated bolts plus hydraulics. In the manual I cannot find a picture showing those parts. Before I spend $500-$600 I wanted to make sure I am getting what I actually need. Any resources anyone can point me to? Also, those bolts are crazy expensive!

I believe a valair setup is what was in there already. It makes all kinds of noise and I have already purchased the clutch and flywheel. I'd like to go back to OEM setup.

 

I read somewhere on the Valair site that this noise issue has been acknowledged and resolved

 

So I worked on the truck again. The master cylinder of the clutch hydraulics had part number db07af611af on it. This is OEM dodge part number. Does that mean that my hydraulics should be compatible with a factory setup?

 

There is! So the guide link in my initial post is literally the only description of the conversion process that I could find that clearly described the process. The FSM only makes a quick mention of the adapter plates it in the clutch section! No pictures, no diagrams, no torque numbers. I have the 2006 FSM.
The guide is accurate and the only parts I did not need are the bolts part number 6033439. I believe they are used to hold the pressure plate in some applications. On my LUK flywheel, the holes and threads were the same as what came off so I got new bolts matched and used those.
As for the hydraulics, in my case the master cylinder had a dodge part number on it. After looking at the old part numbers on the clutch, flywheel and pressure plate it seems that I had a Valeo kit that came with new stock hydraulics. I did not to touch that system at all.
It's sad that the forums have slowed down so much on these older trucks. I hope this information helps someone! If anyone needs clarification of the process please reach out!

These are the torque specs that are in the manual. That is the extent of information that I could find.
