Having issues with ac spent over 4000 on ac parts and still no cold air

 

Well, that sucks....

 

yes it socks big time, actually really sucks cause it's my father's truck just trying to help him out.

I mean, not in the cold-cool sense....


If you are here to vent, that's ok, we can all commiserate together.
If you are looking for assistance on trying to solve your father's AC issues, well, you are going to have to risk getting muscle cramps in your fingers as we are going to need A LOT more info....

 

Yes I understand, not really sure what all got changed after I had installed compressor,, dryer but anyway I had changed compressor dryer and pulled vacuum charged the system and everything seemed to work fine father told me the next day it was cooling than ever and then the following day was just blowing hot air.

 

He took it to an older guy and spent a barrel of money and now the poor fellow has passed away.

 

If it was cooling one day and not the next, suspect that the system has developed a massive leak. Suggest that you re-check the pressures.

 

Sounds like a leak to me too! Vacuum down and let it sit a while to see if it leaks off....................

Did you try to change the filters ?

 

Which filters are you referring to? Please elaborate how changing any sort of filter would make this work. After changing the filter, what would you recommend as the next steps? Very curious as to how you arrived at this conclusion for the fix.

 

Is it no air at all or just warm air? If no air at all, check the blend doors. If warm air, check the pressures to start with. High and low.
